The 6- membered band, based out of Skopje (Macedonia) has been making the masses skank from 1994 on. Today, the band features a powerful 3–piece horn section consisting of tenor saxophone, trumpet and flugel horn. Superhiks has shared stages with other world famous acts: Faith No More, Manu Chao and Radio Bemba, Fun Lovin Criminals, Fishbone, Tito and Tarantula, Henry Rollins, H-Block, Rico Rodriguez and many others. Drawn upon the “old school” and “new school” ska influences, adds their own twist and some local Balkan beats, and what you get is one of the major forces paving the way in the “third wave” movement. In 2011 they published their first double album The Best Of and single Kaj naj naredim (What should I do) which was pronounced best song of the week on the radio station Val 202, while the band was declared best band of the month on the Slovene punk rock portal.
