DESCRIPTION:Vlatko Stefanovski (guitar, vocal), Theodosii Spassov (kaval, vocal)\n\nAt this very special midnight concert in the intimate ambient of the Judgement tower you will have the opportunity to listen to the old acquaintances of the festival: Vlatko Stefanovski and Theodosii Spassov.\n\nVlatko Stefanovski was born in 1957 in Prilep / Macedonia. In his late teens he formed the group LEB I SOL which became one of the most important names in the music scene of former Yugoslavia. LEB I SOL had released 14 albums and had toured around the world.\n\nSince the mid- nineties Stefanovski has developed a very successful solo career. In the last several years he has played and recorded all around the world with many top artists like Tommy Emmanuel, Stochelo Rosenberg, Gibonni, Jan Akkerman, Theodossi Spassov, Stefan Milenkovic, Kudsi Erguner, Bojan Z., Manu Katche, Toni Levin …\n\nTheodosii Spassov comes from Bulgaria. Theodosii Spassov has developed his own unique style of playing the instrument by synthesizing traditional folklore with jazz, fusion and classical music. Critics wrote that he “created a new music genre” and that “his playing the kaval is nothing but ingenious”. Theodosii Spassov has contributed to 20 CDs, four of his own, which have been noted worldwide. He has composed and performed numerous film scores. At home in Bulgaria, Theodosii Spassov is national figure and musical hero, and was recently honored with the”Music Artist of the Year” award. He is the Artistic Director of the world-renown “PHILIP KOUTEV Ensemble Of Music, Drama And Dance” and is a soloist of Bulgarian National Radio.
