Jure Tori (accordion), Eduardo Contizanetti (guitar), Ewald Oberleitner (double bass)
The discrete charm of the melancholia put into music by the accordionist Jure Tori, double bass player Ewald Oberleitner and guitarist Eduardo Contizanetti on the album Wine Café is delicately populating the lyrical sound body full of over- and inter-genre poetics and influences that left its roots in the musicians.
The global story with an intimate origin is the result of Argentinian rhythms, Austrian jazz consistency and Slovenian folk artistry. As a whole the 11 compositions on Wine Café breathe the essence of an emotional intelligence translated into music. The complex sprawl and mutual allowing of motives, decomposing of stylistic textures, improvised dialogues and technically perfected vignettes are only a few elements that are unobtrusively incorporated into the function of the composition and the trio’s inner dynamics.
