JAHCOUSTIX (GER)
An uplifting single release of „World Citizen“ featuring Shaggy, Live-shows on Europe´s biggest Festivals such as „Rock am Ring“ and „Rock im Park“, an official invitation of Germany´s President as well as an inspirational songwriting trip to Jamaica - that was 2012! In 2013 Jahcoustix is back to celebrate his 10th anniversary and the release of a brandnew Studio album.

Jahcoustix`s youth was a nomad´s life, spending years in Mexico, Liberia, New York, Kenya and Egypt. He discovered music in Kenya where he began writing his first songs. After returning to Germany at the age of 20, Jahcoustix fully dedicated his life to Music and has eversince departed on a journey that has taken him and his songs half way around the world. On his upcoming Album Jahcoustix provides his Fans with uncompromising Roots Reggae. The Idea and approach to this album is different to all the previous records. Instead of recording the album with his band, Jahcoustix works with a number of producers to get a more diversified sound. In this anniversary year of 2013, Jahcoustix will be out there to reach out to the world with his new songs and a strong lyrical message.

„I wanted to make a pure Roots reggae record for my anniversary with a focus on collaborations with some of my favorite singers of the past 30 years of Reggae Music. This is my dream, my passion, it´s a truly heartical matter to me.“

MAKAKO JUMP BAND (ITA)
This peculiarity and their innate spirit of adventure has led them to play over 500 concerts, from Sicily to the Baltic Sea, at every (not only) major European festival. In 2004 the band released the first EP, Makako Jump, produced by the saxophonist Edi Meola. In 2006 the band released a »red, gold and green« ska album Mi Queso Es Tu Queso, that exposes the ironic nature of the (still) young members of the band. The new album from 2008, Lasciate La Mancia Al Portapizze, approaches pop music and new reggae, as a result of the artistic growth of the band, its numerous concerts throughout Europe and the contribution of a powerful and compact horn section. In the same year the lead vocalist and show man LorE quit the band leaving a deep void that required radical changes.

But Makaki are still searching for new horizons to explore. They produce 2 studio EPs, which represent their artistic transition to a higher level: Biglie Spaziali (2010) and Live In Radio Koper (2011). Munchies (2012) is the album that marks their regeneration. This thorough and innovative album mixes analogue and electronic tracks in a perfect alchemy of sounds and colours, thanks to the skilful hands of the sound engineer Nicola Ardessi.

MOMAR GAYE (SEN)
Gaye was born in Dakar in '75. After graduation he devoted himself entirely to music. The singer, percussionist, dancer in the musical landscape of Senegal, is still touring through the world of music. In 1995/97 he was second best at the CCF (French Cultural Centre in Senegal). After that he started playing djembe with M. Sena. Since then he recorded several CDs with various veterans of the Sardinian reggae scene like Luke De Vita, Antonello Montalbano, Mamadou Faye and David Foddis.
