The group was formed in spring 2003 to participate at a literary evening dedicated to poet Janez Menart. Since then Same babe has performed at all important ethno (and similar) festivals in Slovenia and published two albums: a record with lyrics of Janez Menart put into music (Za ljubi kruhek in njene črne črne lase, 2007) and Terezijanske (2011) with their own songs, their view on folk songs and lyrics by famous Slovenian poets (Kajetan Kovič, Frane Milčinski – Ježek).

A band which simply sounds. There is no other band sounding like that. That great.
