The current music scene is marked by overproduction, a flood of new groups and records, numerous social networks and blogs, bringing back old trends, intensive PR, managers, publishers, mixed genres, niche music scene, and so on. So how can a fresh new unknown band get a chance?

The band TRUS! made their entrance with the demo tape on Club marathon of Radio Študent in 2012. All three musicians have been involved in music before and gained experience as members of numerous groups, such as Škrip Orkestra, Vanilla Riot, Kombo Zlatka Kaučiča, The Puzzled and Litošt. By forming TRUS!, The members decided to surprise the audience with new and unique music projects.

Besides being a breath of fresh air, TRUS! Also offers a diverse and exciting music choice. The unpredictable trio was influenced by several bands, such as Deerhof, Bilk, Milemarker, Stereolab, and Trans Am, which sometimes results in extremely powerful music, sensual and calm sounds, or even childish playfulness.
