Kekec continues the tradition of Alice in Wonderland, Pippi, Peter Pan and the Snow White and the seven dwarfs, but this time, the emphasis will be on classical children’s literature and connecting movements with words.

The director and choreographer Branko Potočan created numerous successful dance shows were a breath of fresh air at the Slovene dance scene with their humour, theatricality and unique dramaturgy. He received the Golden Bird Award and a Special Jury Prize at the International Festival MESS. This time, he cooperated with Vandot and created a performance that was not seen before in Slovenia by combining contemporary dance and physical elements of the theatre.
