For the first time in Maribor, and Slovenia we will have the privilege to host on stage the best combination of brass music and comedy today, the Austrian band Mnozil Brass. For 20 years they have been performing all around the world with their specific performances filled with exquisite playing and unsurpassable humor - and just presenting stories by turning everything upside-down, surprising the audience, and simply having fun.
The group was formed in 1992 at the tavern of Josef Mnozil in Vienna. Starting with local performances the group steadily improved its performance thus finally arriving at concert and theatre stages and has been performing professionally since 2000. And since then they’ve been playing 120-130 concerts on average every year – all around the world: in almost every European country, Turkey, Israel, Russia, China, Taiwan, Japan, Canada, the US and in Australia. And in the process filling concert venues such as the Royal Albert Hall (London), the KKL (Lucerne), the Vienna Burgtheater, the Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Moscow), the Jahrhunderthalle (Bochum), Munich, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden and Leipzig opera, the Thaliatheater (Hamburg) etc.
