Psihomodo Pop and its charismatic lead singer Davor Gobac never cease to amaze us with strong rock songs, like »Kad sam imao 16«, «Osjećam se haj, mozak baj, baj«, »Frida«, »Natrag u garažu«, »Telegram Sam«, »Ramona« and »Ja volim samo sebe«. The band, known for its unique way of performing, made a strong impression on the Croatian rock scene. Since its creation, they have been relying on true rock sounds of bands, such as Rolling Stones, Iggy & the Stooges, Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, T-Rex, The Vibrators and The Ramones, which made them an essential member of rock music scene in this part of the world.
The Croatian pop punk group was formed in 1983 in Zagreb and has since achieved a somewhat cult following across the area of former Yugoslavia. Formed from the remnants of a band called Neron, Psihomodo Pop initially gained fame across former Yugoslavia in 1988 after the release of their debut album Godina zmaja. Nema nje was released as a single from the album and became a success due to the music video for the song being played by MTV. This gave Psihomodo Pop the distinction as the first Yugoslavian music act to have their music played on a major music television network.
In 1990 the band released their second studio album Sexy magazin and set out on a relatively successful three-month tour across the former Soviet Union. That same year, for concerts in Ljubljana and Zagreb, the band was chosen as the opening act for The Ramones, a band that Psihomodo Pop cited as both a musical act they admire the most as well as their biggest influence.
Their video for the single Natrag u garažu from the album "The best of" Unpljugd was the most played video on most of Croatian TV programmes. The album was recorded with acoustic instruments, which was a major trend at that time. In 2000, the band released Debakl which won them another Porin, this time for Best Rock Album of the Year.
In 2004, they released the album Plastic fantastic with singles Linoleum Boy, Daj Mi Pusu, Lagano Padam and Baš Kao. Their career continued in 2007 with a double “best of” compilation Ultimate Collection and their eighth and the most recent studio album is Jeee! Jeee! Jeee!, released in 2009. With this album the band returned back to their roots and celebrated their 26th anniversary.
Kanda, Kodža i Nebojša

Kanda, Kodža i Nebojša is a Serbian alternative rock band from Belgrade. The band, consiting of Oliver Nektarijević (vocals), Rastko Lupulović (guitar), Vladislav Rac (bass guitar) Stevan Dimitrijević (drums), was formed in 1991. They were soon joined by Marko Petronijević (trumpet). Having performed for two years, and winning the Palilula Culture Olympics, the band went on hiatus as vocalist Nektarijević went to the United States of America.
On his return, in 1994, the band continued working, releasing their debut album Guarda Toma! in 1996. The album, featuring live recordings, made on May and October 1995 at the Belgrade KST, and studio material. The band, combining funk and jazz with rock, with Nektarijević's reggae vocal interpretations, soon became a leading club rock act and a live attraction.
In 1996, guitarist Rastko Lupulović, also working as an actor, made the decision to become a monk, parting to the Visoki Dečani monastery, and getting the monk name Ilarion. On April 1998, the band released the album Igračka plačka, partially featuring material written by Lupulović. The album was produced by Željko Božić, and featured the new guitarist Ivan Topisović, a Superstar member and former Fake Madonna's Underwear member.
The following album, Become, released in 2000 had the song lyrics entirely written in English language. The album, produced by Goran Živković and Sandra Stojadinović and post-produced by Velja Mitrović, presented the band with a personal approach to reggae music.
In 2003, the reformed Kanda, Kodža i Nebojša, featuring Nektarijević and Rajović with new members, bassist Branislav Dragović (a former Samostalni Referenti member), guitarist Nenad Pejović (a former Headstream member), and guitarist Nikola Novaković, released the album Prekidi stvarnosti (Reality Cracks).
In November 2010, the band released the single "Kafane i rokenrol" ("Kafanas and Rock and Roll") for Internet streaming in order to promote the upcoming studio album. The album, entitled Manifest (Manifesto) and produced by Andrej Jovanović, was released in April 2011. The album was released on CD through Odličan Hrčak and in mp3 format for free digital download through Exit music. In October, the band went on a tour across Serbia in order to promote the album.
