In 2011, songwriter Marko Grobler from Maribor released his first solo record Iz dneva v dan with label Celinka. Though it is his first solo album, it is mature and expressive.
After being a member of various bands, he formed the band Ezl ek in 1999, with which he recorded Hitim zgubljen skoz' mesto. However, he later decided to pursue a solo career. As a composer, lyrics writer and performer he is a regular guest at many festivals, such as Festival šansona, Kantfest – songwriters’ festival in Ruše (received 1st, 2nd and 3rd award), Festival Lent, Musica in Rogaška Slatina, Godibodi and other venues in Slovenia.
Marko Grobler worked with many musicians and artists, including poet and writer Feri Lainšček (monograph of Prekmurje and record Občutek za veter), directors Maja Weis and Bojan Labovič and many others.
Besides songs from his last year’s record, he will perform new versions of songs from previous periods of his career.
