Sagar which was formed in the nineties is one of the roots of development of the so called world music. The participants were then united by the wish to explore different music cultures of the world. The results were then combined into musical compositions for the music project Nirvana. Later the group collaborated with excellent musicians from India and recorded another project called Sagar ragas. Their music is interlaced with sounds of India, Near East, Balkan, Africa and South America blended into a new whole.
