IMMORTAL TUNE
Denis Lederhas (Immortal Tune) first came into contact with electronic music as a teenager in the golden years of techno. It was then just a matter of time before electronic music became the center of his life. After his first mesmerizing experiences behind the turntables, he became more and more interested in house music, of which he says, it is the music of the soul. He mostly played funky and latin house spiced with saxophone and female vocals, getting his inspiration from a wide range of lounge and funk music.
After almost a decade, time had left its mark, and he became more interested in new technologies. As a student of electrical engineering, he has benefited from a deeper understanding of the logic of new technologies and how to employ them beyond the turntable. With this knowledge, he has slowly developed a unique style challenging some of the fundamentals of DJ’ing that for decades have been taken for granted. He performs under the name “Immortal Tune”, behind which is the desire to combine the eternal and the new in electronic music.
TIKKA
Matic Vehovec, also known as TIKKA, was born in 1985 in Ljubljana. His passion for electronic music came to life when he was 13 and discovered tapes and videos of John Johnson, Jay Denham, Kevin Saunderson and Umek. However, his music career did not officially start until 2006, when he got in contact with turntables for the very first time. He began discovering electro-house music in his attic together with his friend SLOjack, but their careers took different turns later in life. TIKKA moved away from electro-house and began discovering other genres. Today, his style developed into a mixture of deep, house and techno. So far, he has performed at numerous parties, including Halloween at the Bogenšperk castle, Bacchus club, Mustang Bar, Biksbar, Cube in Ljubljana, Flash Club and Kino Udarnik.
