The trio has been active since 2005. In 2009 they released their debut “Izlet v neznano”, which showcased the band’s diverse influences, including punk, hardcore and metal. The album was recorded in local studios in the band’s home town Kočevje, Slovenia. After the release of their first record, they toured Slovenia.
The band is known for taking on their own PR. They are focused on booking concerts and networking with other musicians, clubs, organizers, festivals and radio stations.

It wasn't long before a new project arose out of the ashes of Lene Kosti, and it will continue where they left off. Dr. Evil is the new band and a new project by frontman Milan Krušič, who proves that he is nowhere nearly finished with music. As the frontman of Lene Kosti, Milan left his mark on the band’s music, while his energetic and wild performances drove many fans into a state of delirium. Surely, he will continue his tradition with his new band, Dr. Evil, which is also the name of his stage persona.
His musical endeavours resulted in performing with world-class musical names, such as Accept, Primal Fear, Grave Digger, Tim Ripper Owens,Brainstorm, Blaze Bayley, Anti Nowhere League and Alestorm. He has also worked with renowed musicians Mat Sinner (Primal Fear) and Manni Schmidt (ex Grave Digger, Rage). His discography contains 3 records of Lene Kosti. He was also a member of the first Slovenian speed metal band, Turbo, with which he recorded one album.
