ONUBO

The group was created in 2000, when Janžej Marinč focused on electronic music. During that period, he created a lot of music material and projects, one of the most noticeable being the project InusFundus, that included all three Onubo members, who were also members of other groups. In 2010, the project resulted in the formation of Onubo. The group began creating new material and made their debut performance at Metelkova, Ljubljana on May 25, 2011.
TIMO CHINALA
Timotej Bertalanič, also known as Timo Chinala, prefers non-commercial music, but is not limited by genres and is open to new ideas. Heavily influenced by “fast techno” and electro, he began producing electronic music after winning the contest of DJ and record producer Richie Hawtin. His remix of Ask Yourself was released by the label MINUS. He was also a runner-up at the Mauro Picotto’s contest on the web portal MixMag.net and his single No good was released by Italian label Alchemy. Last year, his songs were included in the Club Marathon contest by Radio Študent.
In his spare time he likes to drum, which gives him an additional insight in the world of music. "My dream is to bring back the old electronic music, wrap it in fresh and melodic packaging and making people smile," he says.
