The almost legendary Ansasa Trio from Maribor is returning to the stages with a new program which is a mixture of composed, improvised music and funk, ethno and fusion elements. The leader of the group is guitarist Samo Šalamon who was declared to be one of the top 10 hottest guitarists in the world by the Guitar Player magazine in 2009. At the same time his first record Ornethology was placed among the 1001 best records in the history of jazz music (Penguin Guide to Jazz). On the bass is Samo Pečar, who has been extremely active on the Slovenian pop, rock and jazz scene in the past 10 years and is one of the best Slovenian bass players. The group is rounded up by one of the best Slovenian percussionist Andrej Hrvatin.
