Marjutka Hafner, president of the Slovene national UNESCO Commission, honorary sponsor of 24th Folkart: “I am from Ljubljana, but I turn into a Maribor citizen during Lent. Besides protecting the material heritage, Unesco’s mission also includes cultural heritage of people from all over the world. Lent and Folkart is a program that helps preserving the tradition and bringing different cultures together. We are happy and proud that the Slovene national UNESCO Commission is this year’s honorary sponsor of Folkart.”
