Discovering hidden city corners

The residents of the city centre are opening the doors of old city houses and are inviting you to their beautiful yards where the crew of Courtyards of Maribor is offering a varied culture program and presenting local artists, craftsmen and initiatives. On the opening day they are inviting you to the Rotovški trg square from 16:00 to 22:00 where you can visit an art fair with unique products, presentations of skills and crafts and workshops for everyone. At 18:00 we will be Growing with books and the Maribor library. At 17:00 you can join the creative workshop of Umetnostna galerija Maribor on Gosposka 11, where you will be introduced to the direct role of art in the field of ecology, society and personal spiritual growth of the individual. In the magical yard on Kneza Koclja 6 fine artist Nadja Dodlek will exhibit her Creative boom and Haiku in her workshop at 17:00, at 19:00 you can listen to Zofijini ljubimci and the lecture of Boris Vezjak: “Truman show and paranoia for daily use”. At 18:00 Gosposka 28 will host the presentation of the project of renovating interiors which was carried out by the Architecture department of the University of Maribor and is based on the idea of “Upcycling” and recycling. At the end of the day, at 19:00, on Orožnova 7 our thoughts will be provoked by Raz:UM with an Out of the Box seminar about the Art of life and Natural hygiene. This will be followed by a night of relaxed socializing accompanied by music.
